The State Senior Men's Match Play Championship just finished up a few days ago. Since the final group consisted of two Firethorn members (Jay Muller & Larry Sock) we were assured of another champion from Firethorn.
The match was even heading into the 18th hole where Larry (the Legend) grabbed the victory by holing out his second shot from roughly 130 yards.
Congratulations to both Jay and Larry for a well played match....and the Legend continues....

Thanks to Perry Dye we now have the original Pete Dye video of Firethorn available on this Web site. Please go to "History" - "The Early Years" section on the Web site (or just click this link) to download and play the video. It lasts about 20 minutes and requires a high speed Internet connection.
We hope you enjoy this classic!
