'The Early Years' Video is Now Available Thanks to Perry Dye we now have the original Pete Dye video of Firethorn available on this Web site. Please go to "History" - "The Early Years" section on the Web site (or just click this link) to download and play the video. It lasts about 20 minutes and requires a high speed Internet connection.
We hope you enjoy this classic!
In 2001, nine new holes were added. Designed by Rod Whitman, this links
style course is a great addition to Firethorn, providing a different
challenge and insuring a place to play during events or course
maintenance on the original 18.
The end result is Firethorn, a golf club unpretentious in character,
providing an interesting and rewarding challenge to both the serious
and not so serious golfer. In the end, it is the golfer who will make
the final judgment on its character and quality.
